Lunch and Learn

In this hour-long study and group discussion, we focus on various Jewish-related topics. Using text, story, and songs, and the occasional guest speaker, we try to frame and understand the realities of our era in relation to Jewish history, culture, and politics.
Sample topics range from modern Zionism to the American Jewish experience, foods from faraway lands to the local (or New York, anyway) deli, to movies, music, and more. We are a Reform Jewish congregation, exploring how and what Reform Judaism means, looks like, has been, and currently manifests.
Lunch and Learn sessions are held on select Tuesdays at noon in the temple library. Check the temple’s calendar for dates and topics. Reservations are not required. All congregants and guests are welcome.
